My heart has been breaking over the state of our flip island. And so angry I cannot help more. The pendulum has swung the other way as a response to the ‘I’ve made so much money’ posts to now seeing good hearted people in tears over the disappointment and shattered hopes that THIS was the answer. I push back on you focusing so much on the money made here as a primary focus because as I’m sure you’ve picked up: they can pull the rug out at any moment without notice. This is not reliable income. It just isn’t. There is money to be made but it’s not a stable system. I fight so hard for you to learn how to make good videos because that IS a skill you can earn money with. Brands and businesses will always need video. A lot of video. If you use flip as the place to learn, practice, get cute things at a discount and maybe some side cash, you will win. If you make any one app your only job, you will be disappointed. I saw people saying they were quitting their jobs to do flip full time. Unless you are on a contract with terms that guarantee a retainer, you are just in the rain with a bucket trying to catch what you can. If you start making $10k months on one app, I STILL suggest diversifying your income streams. I’ve had this happen to me. I’ve seen this happen time and again. Celebrate the wins when you are winning but I always stand by the old adage of “I don’t trust these hoes” …. And post your videos on YouTube. Their shopping features are ramping up and the fact that they are taking their time makes me feel they are pacing to do it right. Ok… back to your regularly scheduled Saturday

Hi Marielou and team! You know what we have discussed when you are often doing something or putting on make up and then talking to us about a different subject and it is so highly effective. I was just taking a look at this video that I shot last night to thank Cupid‘s bow & I noticed that toward the middle when I’m actually putting on the product for a bit of the video I am focusing on putting on the product that it felt a bit more natural to me. I was wondering if this is similar to what you are doing and if not how I could improve or do something differently. I also saw some people have a KEY icon next to their name indicating they are part of the Founding Creator Fund.
