🎥 Challenge Prompt + Fundamentals Video: I’ll post a new video challenge and a fundamentals video to build essential skills. This week’s theme: Editing BASICS.

Tuesday
✂️ CapCut Class (Live at 2 p.m. PT): Join live or catch the replay for editing tips to make your videos shine.

Thursday
💬 Drop-In Session (4 p.m. PT): Join our open hour for quick questions and feedback. Reminder: Submit your video challenge by that night!

Friday
📈 Feedback Friday: Share videos from the challenge, celebrate wins, and track progress together!

✂️ This Week’s Video Challenge: Basic Editing & Magical Transitions ✂️

Hey, Video Creator Club! This week, we’re diving into Basic Editing skills that every creator needs: trimming the beginning and end of clips, cutting out parts in the middle, and adding a simple but fun in-camera transition.

Your Challenge:

Create a quick, 10-15 second video where you use these editing techniques:

• Trim the beginning and end to keep your video tight.

• Cut out any unwanted parts in the middle.

• Use a fun transition to make a change for a bit of magic. 

🙈 You don't have to show your face in this one (but you can!) 

🤳 Make it vertical

⏰ Final video should be no longer than 15 seconds!

If you have a Doc Popp, lets show some love while we practice making videos.  If you don't have a Doc Popp or just want to make a video of something else, thats all good too!

Post your video by Thursday night so we can share feedback on Friday! Let’s have some fun with this transition—go make that video!
